Vancouver Community Baseball recognizes graduating 18U players who lead with character, commitment, and community pride. This scholarship is values-based and focused on impact, growth, and contribution beyond athletic statistics alone.

What this scholarship recognizes

The program exists to support graduating 18U players who exemplify excellence both on and off the field. It reflects VCB’s commitment to developing strong athletes, accountable leaders, engaged students, and positive community members.

Who can apply

  • Graduating 18U player in good standing with Vancouver Community Baseball
  • Participated in VCB programs during the 18U season
  • Pursuing post-secondary education, trade school, or a recognized training or development program
  • Completed the season without unresolved disciplinary issues

What applicants should prepare

  • Applicant information and VCB participation details
  • Post-graduation plans and intended field of study or training
  • A 300–500 word statement about growth, leadership, commitment, and community impact
  • One required reference and one optional second reference from non-family adults
  • Declarations, consent, and optional supporting documents
